Sara Stowe grew up in Harlow New Town where she studied piano with Virginia Black. She went on to win a Piano Foundation Scholarship to the RCM, and in her second year the inter-collegiate Raymond Russell Harpsichord Prize and in her last year the RCM Continuo Prize. She enjoys playing a wide range of music from early keyboard music of the 14th century to the demanding interest of contemporary music.
